Vivo S6 5G: Specifications & Design

The Vivo S series is one of the most popular smartphone series in the mid-range segment in South East Asia and China. The Vivo S6 5G will be announced as the direct successor to the Vivo S5 launched last November, which is four months ago. It will also become the first 5G smartphone in the series. For now, the company has only started teasing the handset for several days. For now, only the back design of this smartphone has been revealed, but the company should tease the specs and design of this phone in the next couple of days.

According to the latest teaser render shared by the brand, the upcoming Vivo S6 5G will have a USB-C port at the bottom edge surrounded by a SIM card slot and a speaker grille. Aside from that, the teaser also revealed the blue-purple gradient model of the handset along with a 5G and Vivo logo on the rear.

As for the hardware configuration, rumor has it that the handset could get the mid-range Snapdragon 765 SoC as its predecessor was also equipped with a mid-range chipset. However, that is not backed up by any benchmark listing so you should take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully, we will get more information about this forthcoming Vivo smartphone soon as its launch is less than two weeks from now.
