Vivo India is planning to release the Vivo V19 in India as the direct successor to the Vivo V17 that launched last December. The device will be the brand’s first phone to come with a dual punch-hole screen. While several rumors already talked about the Vivo V19 launch date since last month, the brand kept silent about the matter until now. Vivo India finally teases the official launch date on its Twitter page along with a teaser poster, which reveals the handset’s front and back panel of the phone along with its colour variants.
Vivo V19: Launch date in India
The Vivo V19 launch date is confirmed as 26th March. Don’t be mistaken with the Vivo V19 version that launched Indonesia recently as it is only the rebranded model of the Vivo V17 that launched in India at the end of last year. The upcoming model will come with much better specifications.
According to the posters, the phone will arrive in Mystic Silver and Piano Black color variants. The Vivo V19 price in India could start from around Rs. 25,000.
Vivo V19: Specifications & Features
The official teaser poster shows that the Vivo V19 will have a dual punch-hole display. That means there will be dual selfie cameras housed in a pill-shaped cut-out at the upper left corner. It will be equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor as shown in the video, which means the phone will have an AMOLED panel instead of an LCD one. Rumor has it that the device will be equipped with a 6.44-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It could get power from the mid-range Snapdragon 712 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128 / 256GB of storage.

Around the back, the poster shows the presence of a quad-camera cluster that is housed in a rectangular module at the top left corner. According to previous leaks, it could consist of a 48MP main sensor alongside 8MP + 2MP + 2MP units. The front pill-shaped punch-hole will reportedly include 32MP and 8MP sensors. The poster also teases several camera features such as Super Night Selfie, Super Wide Angle, and Aura Screen Light.
