Vivo S6 5G is a new mid-range phone that has Samsung's Exynos 980 SoC, dual-mode 5G connectivity, and multiple features to boost its performance.

Vivo S6 5G is the latest offering from Vivo in the mid-range segment. The handset comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, four rear cameras, beefy 4,500 mAh battery, and Exynos 980 SoC with dual-mode 5G connectivity.

Vivo S6 5G: Price & Availability
Users can now start pre-ordering the phone in China in White, Blue, or Black colors or you can wait for the official sales, slated for 4 April via Vivo’s official store, JD.com, Tmall, and other major offline and online platforms.

There are two memory configurations of this phone, including 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB of storage. They are priced at CNY 2,698 (Rs. 28,900) and CNY 2,998 (around Rs. 32,100).
Vivo S6 5G: Specifications & Features
The Vivo S6 5G rocks a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel that has a water-drop notch at the top, housing a 32MP snapper for taking selfies and video calls. The display supports Full-HD+ ( 1,080 x 2,400p) resolution, a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, and has a fingerprint sensor underneath for biometric authentication. On the rear, we can see four cameras stacked inside a circular housing. The camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP dedicated macro camera.

Under the hood, it is given power by a Samsung’s Exynos 980 SoC and comes in two variants - 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It doesn’t have a microSD card so you won’t be able to expand the storage. To take care of the software side of things, Vivo pre-installs Android 10 on this phone with its FunTouch OS 10 running on top. The handset offers Vivo’s Multi-Turbo technology, including AI Turbo, Cooling Turbo, CPU Turbo, ART+++ Turbo, and Net Turbo. The brand also claims that the new-gen Cooling Turbo on this phone can reduce its temperature by up to 10°C compared to its predecessor.
