Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has released the iQOO Z1, which is the first phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Aside from that, the phone is also among the very few smartphones in the world that has a 144Hz display even though the handset's starting price is only around Rs. 23,000.
Vivo iQOO Z1: Price & Availability
The 6GB + 128GB base model is retailed at CNY 2,198 (around Rs. 23,400) while the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at CNY 2,498 (around Rs. 26,600). You can also pay an extra CNY 300 (around Rs. 3,200) for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
Being a gaming smartphone, the iQOO Z1 is offered alongside several accessories like Bluetooth controller with a joystick, neckband wireless earphones, and covers for CNY 159 (around RS. 1,700), CNY 269 (around Rs. 2,800), and CNY 39 (around Rs. 400), respectively.
The handset is already up for pre-bookings on Chinese e-commerce sites from today and will be available for sales in the country from 1st June.
Vivo iQOO Z1: Specifications & Features
The Vivo iQOO Z1 specs include a 6.57-inch LCD display of FHD+ (2,409 x 1,080p) resolution and a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. The display supports a whopping 144Hz refresh rate and features the popular punch-hole style on the top-right corner. Under the hood, it gets a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 44W SuperFlash technology, which is said to juice up the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 23 minutes.
At the back, there are a total of three cameras for taking photos. The setup includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It runs on Android 10-based iQOO UI to take care of the software side of things and comes in three memory variants - 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
For better gaming performance and heat dissipation, the handset is equipped with Multi-Turbo 3.5 mode and a liquid cooling system, which is claimed to lower the temperature of the phone by up to 12 degrees Celsius. Other features of the iQOO Z1 are a headphone jack, dual-mode 5G (SA / NSA), dual SIM slots, USB Type-C port, super-linear dual speaker, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
