Karamchand Rameshwar
Vivo iQOO will reportedly enter the Indian market soon and its first series is tipped to include iQOO Neo, iQOO Lite, and iQOO Pro, according to recent trademarks of the three.
- Vivo iQOO Neo Passed Through TENAA With Snapdragon 855+
- Vivo iQOO Lite Listed On AuTuTu With Snapdragon 855 SoC
Vivo iQOO will reportedly arrive in India soon and it is also tipped to operate as an independent company in the country. In addition, recently rumors also suggest that the brand could release its first 5G smartphone in India with a Snapdragon 865 SoC. Now, the brand name iQOO has finally been trademarked in India. Three iQOO smartphones have also been trademarked in the country, including iQOO Lite, iQOO Neo, and iQOO Pro.
The iQOO Pro and iQOO Neo were already released in China back in July and August 2019, respectively. Meanwhile, there are not many details about the iQOO Lite at the moment. The iQOO Neo, the handset is driven by a Snapdragon 845 SoC while the iQOO Pro draws power from a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. As for the iQOO Lite, the name was first spotted last year on the database of the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). And that is the only piece of information we got about the phone. Therefore, it is very hard to make any prediction about this upcoming phone.
Aside from these three phones, iQOO India is also tipped to release a 5G smartphone with the Snapdragon 865 SoC and 5G connectivity. The handset might arrive sometime in the first quarter of this year. While we are waiting for the iQOO Lite, iQOO Neo, and iQOO Pro, the brand is working on the Vivo iQOO 3 and Vivo iQOO Neo 3 and is about to release them in China. Both smartphones have been spotted on the database of multiple certification agencies, which suggests that they should be launched soon. The iQOO 3 is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 865 SoC & a 60Hz display.
Back to the iQOO’s upcoming lineup in India, for now, we haven’t heard much about them. Therefore, you shouldn’t expect them to arrive anytime soon. Visit Mobygeek daily and we will keep you updated on the latest mobile news.
