It’s still nearly three months till the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is officially announced, but multiple leaks have already been out suggesting different specs of the phone.
Just a few days ago, we got to see a 360-degree render video which showcases a prototype of the long expected Galaxy S10+.
Like the demo 5G smartphone which Samsung revealed last week, the alleged prototype of the S10+ may feature a quite odd-looking display notch on the corner of the phone’s front. This notch will house two selfie cameras.
Furthermore, this prototype appears to have much thinner bezels on the top and bottom of the phone’s front, which is likely to be the finalized size of the Galaxy S10+. However, the side bezels on the prototype you see here are different from what the finished product will look like. At the end of the day, we still expect Samsung to feature curved edges on its upcoming flagship.
The Korean giant phone maker did not release the photos of the phone’s rear on the Internet. Yet, provided that the phone’s cameras are undergoing specific tests, it is likely that it will come with a horizontal quadruple-camera setup.
If our expectation turns out right, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ will have its official launch in late February 2019 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
For now, what we already know is that the phone will have an AMOLED screen, which is designed to be 6.4 inches large. Also, the phone may have RAM of 6GB as well as internal storage of 128GB. Depending on the regions where the phone will be sold, it will be powered by either the Snapdragon 855 from Qualcomm or the in-house Exynos 9820. Samsung probably will let the phone run on Android 9 Pie with a default overlay called One UI. Finally, there is a likeliness that the Samsung Galaxy S10+ will pack a 4,000 mAh battery.
