The Panasonic Eluga was first introduced in 2012, which was a mid-range Android device sold abroad. But to give it a meaningless name was such a terrible idea. What does eluga even mean?

18. HP Pre 3

Pre 3 224 Update 1024 Verge

The tongue-twister name isn’t why the HP Pre 3 never joined the US market. Rather, it was mismanagement and bad sales that costed WebOS’ opportunites in the mobile platform competition.

If you want your audience to pronounce your product’s name as “view” instead “voo”, go ahead and name your product like the LG Optimus Vu. Verizon decided to cut off all lingustic problems by changing the product’s name to LG Intuition, which is still a vague name, to be honest.

21. Casio G’zOne… anything

Casio Gzone Commando 4g Lte 35826156 4567

Everything about this name was awful, from the random capitaliation to the apostrophe. Oh, and in case you are curious how it’s supposted to be pronounced. It’s “jeez-WUN”.

We were wondering if the marketing team of LG was lacking idea for its phone name and was desperate enough to put the phone color in the name. In the US, Boost Mobile and Sprint named it the LG Marquee, which at least sounded much better.

Lg Chocolate Kg800 1

There is nothing about the LG Chocolate that can be associated with a chocolate. Is it the shape of a candy bar and the liquid music features the company want to promote? They should have tried “LG Musiq”.

34192007 Palm

Another food-themed name that made consumer wondered what happened when the company was coming up with name ideas.

29. LG Fusic

64982174 Cms
