The Snapdragon 732 SoC might make its first debut on POCO's upcoming smartphone, allegedly called POCO X3.

Qualcomm recently released a new mid-range chip called the Snapdragon 732G. This is a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 730 / 730G duo launched last year.

The Snapdragon 732G is said to have a 15% higher performance than that of the Snapdragon 730G.

The Snapdragon 732G chipset comes with two major upgrades over the Snapdragon 730G, including a 2.3GHz clock speed, higher than the 2.2GHz speed of the 730G. It is also paired with an Adreno 618 GPU that improves graphics processing by 15% over that of its predecessor. In addition to these two upgrades, the remaining specifications of the Snapdragon 732G are identical to those of the Snapdragon 730G.

The new chip is equipped with a basic Kryo 470 core running at 2.3GHz and a performance Kryo 470 core running at 2.2GHz, accompanied by six energy-efficient Kryo 470 cores running at 1.8GHz. The Snapdragon 732G is built on Samsung's 8nm LPP process.

In terms of graphics, the Snapdragon 732G will support Snapdragon Elite Gaming features such as Vulkan 1.1 Graphics Driver, Qualcomm Game Jank Reducer, True HDR, anti-cheat extensions... This chip also has a Spectra 350 Image Signal Processor that enables 4K HDR video recording and processing, supports Qualcomm's AI Engine with up to 3.6 TOPS (Tensor Operations Per Second) performance, Hexagon 688 signal processor and Quick charge technology Charge 4+. With the included X15 LTE modem, the device will only support the 4G LTE network and not the newer-gen 5G.

Leaked sources said that in the near future, the Snapdragon 732G chip will soon appear on Xiaomi's POCO X3, an upgraded version of POCO X2 launched earlier this year.
