The flagship Snapdragon 875 will be the first chipset from Qualcomm that is built on the 5nm process and it is expected to be introduced next month. The chipset will most likely power the majority of Android flagship devices in the first half of next year. In addition to the Snapdragon 875, we also believe that those flagships will come with ultra-fast charging technologies as some smartphone makers have already announced their proprietary charging solutions, up to 125W. Now, Chinese tipster digital Chat Station has claimed on Weibo that there will be at least five smartphones set to launch with the top-end Snapdragon 875 chipset and 100W+ fast charging technology in the first quarter of 2021.

While the tipster doesn’t reveal the exact name of those smartphones, we believe that they might be the Xiaomi Mi 11, Redmi K40 Pro, an ASUS gaming smartphone, and a Realme flagship. The OnePlus 9 and Samsung Galaxy S21 series will certainly come with the Snapdragon 875 chipset, but may not be equipped with the 100W+ charging solution as both brands only offer up to 65W fast charging capabilities at the moment.

On a separate note, Qualcomm Technologies has just announced its first-ever mobile E-sports program in India, called Snapdragon Conquest. With the program, players will have the chance to join multiple events across multiple games over the year. The program will kick off with a Free Fire tournament named Snapdragon Conquest: Free Fire Open 2020. Players will compete for a large prize pool of Rs. 50,00,000.
