While there hasn't been any accurate information about when the device will be available on the market, Samsung's foldable Galaxy phone is planned to be available at some point in the first half of 2019.

Back in 2018 at the company annual developer conference, the tech giant revealed that its foldable phone would have a 4.58-inch screen on the outside and when opened up, you will see a bigger 7.29-inch screen. The phone is also believed to be featuring an ‘Infinity Flex’ display which is considered as the cornerstone of the future generations of Samsung's smartphones.
It is an undeniable fact that foldable phone is a trend right now and the competition in launching foldable phones is becoming fiercer and fiercer when others big tech companies like LG, Huawei, and Oppo also reportedly plan to release a foldable phone for some time to come.

According to Gizmodo, a representative of the company confirmed that the foldable phone will be launched in the first half of this year and at least 1 million of them are ready to be produced. The firm responded:

In terms of availability, the foldable phone will initially be available in selected markets such as Korea, the company's home market and some other markets, except for the further western markets like the US or Europe. Samsung's foldable phone is also expected to cost a sky-high price of roughly Rs 131,821 ($1,850).
