This year, it appears that Samsung will unveil its new products a bit earlier than usual. The Korean tech giant sent out official invites for the first Unpacked event of 2021 on January 14, which is a month earlier than last year. The theme of this event is “Welcome to the Everyday Epic” and the company is expected to introduce the latest Galaxy S smartphone lineup.

The company said:
“Over the past year, mobile technology has taken center stage in everyday life as people are working remotely and spending more time at home. The accelerated transition to a mobile-first world brings with it the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience.”
The much anticipated Galaxy S21 lineup will likely include three models, namely the standard S21 with a 6.2-inch screen, the S21 Plus with a screen of 6.7 inches, and the S21 Ultra with a display of 6.8 inches. The smartphones are expected to come in the same design with only differences in their camera modules for varied video and photo capabilities.

In 2021, Samsung may also discontinue the Galaxy Note series and add S Pen support to the Galaxy S21 Ultra instead. However, early renders do not illustrate a visible location to store the stylus, meaning users may have to keep it separately. Currently, the stylus is store inside the Galaxy Note device.
On January 11, Samsung will have a press conference at CES 2021, during which it will likely focus on TVs and home appliances like previous years. The Unpacked event will take place on the last of this year’s CES.
