The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ will come with a different camere placement at the back and some of you won't like it.

Samsung will officially launch its next high-end series, Samsung Galaxy S21, on January 14th. Ahead of the official launch, WinFuture has confirmed some previous details. For example, the curved displays we have seen for a long time will be replaced by flat screens on the S21 and S21 Plus. In addition, the rear camera cluster has also been redesigned and moved to the side of the smartphone.

According to WinFuture, the display on both the S21 and S21 Plus will have a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, which is lower than that of their predecessor, which has QHD+ resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels). Both of them will still have a 120Hz refresh rate, with the option of going down to 60Hz.

The main rear camera sensors of the S21 and S21 Plus are still the same as those used in the S20 and S20 Plus, including a 12MP sensor with 1 / 1.76-inch pixel, an f / 1.8 lens, and OIS. The 10MP selfie camera and the 12MP super wide-angle rear camera are also the same.

However, the telephoto camera could be different. It could have a smaller pixel size, but the same resolution and pixel size, at 64MP and 0.8 micrometers, respectively. The telephoto camera has optical image stabilization, which is likely to support 3x optical zoom. Samsung appears to have eliminated the time-of-flight sensor on the Galaxy S21 Plus, as it did with the Note20 Ultra.
