Samsung Galaxy M40: Launch date
According to reported information, the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M40 in India will take place on June 11. Now, the Korean giant has confirmed the news by posting a teaser video on its official Twitter account. On the other hand, Amazon India has launched a microsite dedicated for the M40, with confirmation that the phone will go on sale on its platform.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is an affordable smartphone that comes with the Infinity-O display. The device sports a stylish and trendy design with a nearly bezel-less display, slim body, and a classy back finish. The slightly rounded edges provide a better grip.

Samsung also said that it has Snapdragon 600-series processor with three cameras on the back. There would not be a notch on display like in the other smartphones these days. The Galaxy M40 is the fourth M-series product that the Korean phone maker has launched in India first.
The company has also posted several photos of the upcoming phone on Amazon as well as its teaser website, from which we can firmly say that there will be a fingerprint sensor and a LED flash on the phone's back.
While Samsung hasn't revealed specs of the handset, according to rumors, it will come with 6GB of RAM and a 3,500mAh battery. Additionally, it will run on Android 9 Pie with new Samsung One UI, making M40 the first M-series phone to run on Android Pie. And it will also be the first smartphone of the Galaxy M-series which comes with Snapdragon SoC instead of Exynos.
Samsung Galaxy M40: Price

Now lets come to the price, Samsung is planning to sell the M40 around Rs. 20,000 in the country, which means it will go in direct competition with the Vivo V11 Pro, Oppo F11 Pro, Poco F1, and Nokia 8.1. This will make it more costly than the Galaxy M30, which is available for Rs 17,990 (128GB+6GB model).
