Samsung Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition has combat-related features like a stealth mode to turn off LTE and mute RF broadcasts

Samsung has recently introduced a rough version of the Galaxy S20. It’s tactical, rich with features, and super cool to have in your hand. However, there is no way you can have it, no matter how much you are willing to pay unless you serve in the military.

The Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition is designed to meet the requirements of the US military. Its two layers encryption can ensure top secret information and it can connect to mission systems and tactical radios right out of the box.

As you may have guessed, the tactical Galaxy S20 boasts combat-related features too. When soldiers wear night-vision goggles, they can turn the screen on or off by choice. There is a stealth mode to mute RF broadcasts and LTE, leaving no chance to eavesdropping.

The landscape mode makes it easy for users to launch apps while having the phone mounted on their chests.

Apart from these added features, the rest of the phone is the usual specs you expect on a regular Galaxy S20, including a 1440p, 6.2-inch display, RAM of 12GB, expandable storage of 128GB, a Snapdragon 865 chipset, and the mammoth 4,000 mAh battery. The camera arrangements are also the same.

Samsung advertises its Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition in a rugged case, but do not let it fool you, the company mentions nothing on the phone itself being rugged.

The Galaxy S20 Tactical Edition will be launched in the third quarter for bulk order.
