A few weeks ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note20, Note20 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Watch 3, and a few new tablet models. But Samsung still doesn't want to end 2020 here. On September 23, Samsung will continue to hold another Unpacked event, called "Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan".

Maybe this is Samsung's hint that it will launch the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition smartphone, which has been rumored in the past few weeks. According to the leaked information, Galaxy S20 FE will have design and configuration similar to the Galaxy S20, but with a lower price and some downgrades.
Verizon also confirmed on its website that the Galaxy S20 FE will be available in Red, Dark Blue, Pink, and Mint Green. However, as usual, Samsung may launch more color options depending on the market. According to the invitation of the Unpacked event, we can see two main colors are Dark Blue and Mint Green.

We can still remember the "Fan Edition" brand that Samsung debuted with the Galaxy Note 7, after the re-release of this smartphone. However, after that, Samsung no longer used this brand name, replaced by the ‘Lite’ moniker for the cheaper versions on the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite,. It is not clear why Samsung now decides to reuse the Fan Edition branding, but it is also possible that the Lite version strategy was not as successful as expected.
