Yesterday, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition) has been launched globally as the latest addition to the Galaxy S20 series. Samsung claims that they have designed the phone based on feedback from their fans as well as includes all specs & features they have asked for. Highlights of this phone include a 120Hz AMOLED display, beefy battery, Snapdragon 865 chipset, and more. However, it is worth noting that the Galaxy S20 FE 4G only has an Exynos 990, not the Snapdragon 865 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Price & Availability
You can now pre-order the phone on Samsung.com though it is only applicable for users in the US or wait for the sales on October 2. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE price in the US is $700 (around Rs. 51,000) for the 5G version, which is significantly lower than the Galaxy S20 price. You can also get the 4G model, which is currently available in Europe markets only, for a starting price of €633 (around Rs. 54,000).
The handset will come in multiple color options, including Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud White.

For now, there is no word regarding the Galaxy S20 FE India launch, but we will update as soon as we hear anything about it.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: Specifications & Features
Even though the Galaxy S20 FE is significantly cheaper than its sibling Galaxy S20, the device still comes with impressive specifications. On the front, it gets a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel, featuring Full-HD+ resolution, punch-hole design, and a 120Hz refresh rate. While the 5G version of this phone is driven by a Snapdragon 865 chipset, the 4G option will reportedly be equipped with Samsung’s inhouse Exynos 990 SoC. Android 10-based One UI 2.5 is the software version that is preloaded on this device. Fueling the Galaxy S20 FE is a 4,500 mAh battery, that can be refilled with 15W fast charging technology or wireless as well as reverse wireless charging.

In the camera department, Samsung goes for a total of four cameras, three at the back and one on the front. Around the back, there are three cameras housed inside a rectangular module, including a 12MP wide-angle unit, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 30x Super Resolution zoom. Sitting on the front punch-hole is a 32MP camera that can be used for picturing selfies or video calling. The device is IP68 certified for water & dust resistance and equipped with an under-display fingerprint reader for biometrics security. Just like other phones in the S20 series, it is a shame that the S20 FE also doesn’t have a headphone jack.
