According to the latest leak, Samsung will likely launch its next Galaxy S series two weeks ahead of the MWC 2020 event. The Galaxy S11 launch date is exactly February 11, 2020 in San Francisco. The upcoming Galaxy S flagships will come with many upgrades and a different design.
Tipster IceUniverse also recently revealed information about the three versions that Samsung is going to launch. The series includes Galaxy S11, Galaxy S11 Plus, and Galaxy S11e. In particular, S11 and S11 Plus are still two high-end versions, while the S11e is a cheaper version.
Ice Universe also shared a leaked image to see the size difference between the S11, S11 Plus, and S11e. A previous rumor revealed that the S11e has a 6.3 or 6.4-inch screen, whereas the S11 and S11 Plus have 6.7 inch and 6.9-inch screens.
The Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus will also be upgraded and significantly improved the camera, with a 108MP main sensor and 5x optical zoom. Besides, the larger battery capacity, the new-generation in-display fingerprint sensor, powerful processor and 5G support are all expected on the upcoming Galaxy S11. Recent renders also suggest that there will be a design on the three phones. All of them will carry a punch-hole display with a center-aligned cut-out just like the Galaxy Note 10. In addition, its camera module will be in a rectangle shape, replacing the old design.
Aside from that, the series was also suggested by IceUniverse to be launched in a new name, Galaxy S20. If the news is to be believed, the three upcoming Galaxy S flagships will be called Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20e. However, the brand hasn’t teased or mentioned anything about it so you should take it with a grain of salt.
