Last month, the South Korean phone maker Samsung already announced that it started producing the first 1TB Universal Flash Storage 2.1 (eUFS) in the world for its future phones. This news fit the information that it was going to launch a special edition of the Galaxy S10+ with 12GB of RAM and 1TB storage. And now, such model has just spotted listing on the benchmarking website Geekbench.
The handset was already rumored to be the first phone to ever pack 1TB of internal storage and come with the model number of SM-G975F. As mentioned, it will also pack 12GB RAM, which is not the first on a phone but it is still among the very early ones to have that much RAM. Under the hood, the device will likely be powered by a Samsung’s Exynos 9820 chipset or a Snapdragon 855 chipset and it will run the Android 9 Pie-based One UI. As Geekbench does not measure phone’s internal storage, the listing doesn’t mention anything about the 1TB internal storage.
The device got a 4,450 and 9,753 points on the single-core and multi-core tests. The result is quite surprising as the iPhone XS Max got better performance on both single core and multi-core tests on the same platform.
Similarly, the Samsung SM-G975F phone was also spotted on AnTuTu with 12GB of RAM/1GB storage. The model is listed running Samsung's Exynos 9820 processor, coupled with a Mali-G76 GPU and it features a resolution of 2,280 x 1,080 pixels resolution. It managed to achieve a score of 326,185, which is still lower than that of the iPhone XS Max with 363,525.
The Geekbench listing was spotted one day after the renders of the Ceramic model of the Galaxy S10+ surfaced online. Those leaked renders tipped that the Ceramic version will feature a more exquisite-looking back than other models with a glass back. The full design and colour variants was also shown in a leaked video. All three models of the Galaxy S10 will be offered in a three colour options, including Prism Green, Prism Black, and Prism White.
