After featuring in many leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally announced the much-anticipated Galaxy S10 lineup in the Unpacked even in the US. This is also the year that the South Korean giant company celebrates its 10-year-anniversary of the flagship Galaxy S series. This time, instead of launching two models as usual, Samsung unveiled a total of four variants - the more affordable Samsung Galaxy S10e, the standard model Galaxy S10, the more premium Samsung Galaxy S10+, and the last one with 5G capability Galaxy S10 5G. All of them pack the latest SoC, much higher RAM as well as storage, bigger battery capacity, more cameras, and a headphone jack.

They will be available for pre-ordering from 21 February and up for sale in March. Pre-ordering the Galaxy S10 or S10+ will earn you a free pair of wireless earbuds called Galaxy Buds.
Samsung Galaxy S10e: Specifications & Features
Starting from the more affordable Galaxy S10, the phone sports a 5.8-inch HD+ AMOLED panel with a 1,080 x 2,280 pixels resolution, and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The display has a 438ppi pixel density, and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM/256GB of storage. The Galaxy S10e variants in the Indian market will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 9820 chipset instead.
The more affordable Galaxy S10e is the only phone with a dual rear camera setup
In terms of camera, the phone comes with a dual camera setup on the rear, including a 12MP main sensor with DPAF, an aperture of f/1.5, and OIS support as well as a 16MP secondary sensor with a 123-degree ultra-wide angle lens and an aperture of f/2.2. On the front, there will be a 10MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.9 for taking selfies and video chat. The phone also has support for 4K video recording as well.

Under the hood, it is backed by a 3,100 mAh battery with support for wireless charging, fast charging via a USB-C port, and reverse wireless charging feature as well. For security, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side and inside its power button.

Samsung Galaxy S10: Specifications & Features
The next on the series is the standard Galaxy S10. The handset sports a 6.1-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 1,440 x 3,040 pixels resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a 550 PPI pixel density. The Galaxy S10 packs the same SoC as on the Galaxy S10e, coupled with either 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM/512GB of storage.
In terms of camera, the phone sports a triple camera on the rear, comprising of a 12MP main sensor with a telephoto lens, an aperture of f/2.4, and support for OIS support. The rear main sensor is coupled with a 12MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.5 and support for OiS; and a 16MP third sensor with a 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. On the front, the phone comes with the same 10MP Sensor as on the Galaxy S10e for taking selfies and video chat.

Under the hood, it comes with a larger 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support as well as a new reverse wireless charging feature. For security, it has both Facial ID feature and an on-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S10+: Specifications & Features
Next in line is the Galaxy S10+. The phone features the same rear camera system and on-screen fingerprint sensor as on the standard S10. However, there are differences in the display size, front camera system, and battery capacity as well. Besides, the phone also comes in more memory variants.
The Galaxy S10+ sports a 6.3-inch Quad-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 522 ppi pixel density and it is protected with a Gorilla Glass 6. On the front, instead of a single camera like on the S10e and S10, there is a dual camera setup, including a 10MP sensor and an 8MP sensor for depth sensing. Under the hood, it packs a larger 4,100 mAh battery with support for fast charging, wireless fast charging, and the new feature ‘reverse wireless charging’.

It will come in a total of three variants, including 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage, 8GB of RAM/512GB of storage, and a special edition with 12GB of RAM/1TB of storage in luxurious ceramic Black or White colour.

Other features on the S10 lineup include IP68 certification for water resistance, 800nits of brightness, up to 8 seconds of super slow motion video recording, and support for Dolby Atmos audio. In terms of software, all of the Galaxy S10 phones run the latest One UI which is based on Android 9 Pie.

The Galaxy S10 5G has not only 5G capability but also better specifications as well
Samsung will be introducing a special model of the Galaxy S10 with 5G support on countries like the USA, South Korea, and several European countries. They will launch the phone under the simple name of Galaxy S10 5G. The features and design of the 5G model are pretty much the same as the premium S10+.
It packs a large 6.7-inch display
However, there are still some significant differences between the two. Firstly, it sports a larger 6.7-inch screen, which is the biggest on all of the Galaxy phones. The second difference is the quad camera setup on the rear, in which there will be a Time of Flight sensor. The last difference is the larger 4,500 mAh battery.
Alongside the 4 models of the S10 series, Samsung also introduces its first foldable phone, Galaxy Fold, and other accessories such as wireless earbuds Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch Active.
