The release date of the Samsung Galaxy S10 is getting closer, only one month away and there are more and more leaks surfacing online, giving us a better look of the Samsung flagship phones. We already have their expected specs, leaked renders giving us a good look of their designs, and more. Now, their pricing in the Italian market have also been revealed in a new report. In addition, the variant with the lowest price is said to carry the name Galaxy S10 Lite instead of Galaxy S10E as some rumors suggested previously. Other smartphones in the Galaxy S10 lineup are tipped to be Galaxy S10 and S10+.
Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones: Expected prices
A new report from tuttoAndroid says that the Galaxy S10 Lite, which is previously rumored to be Galaxy S10E, will cost €779 (around Rs. 63,000) for the option with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and it will come in four colour options, including White, Green, Black and Yellow.
Moving to the regular Samsung Galaxy S10, it will come in a total of three color variants which are Green, Black, and White. It will be priced at €929 (around Rs. 75,200) and €1,179 (around Rs. 95,400) for the options with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as well as 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, respectively.
The top-end Galaxy S10+ is tipped to be offered in three memory options, including a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage option, an 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage variant and the top-end model with 12GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB of storage. They will cost €1,049 (around Rs. 85,100), €1,299 (around Rs. 104,900), and €1,599 (around Rs. 129,500), respectively. It is expected to come in three colour options, including White, Black, Green along with 2 more special variants.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is tipped to come with a dual selfie camera setup
However, you have to keep in mind that these leaked prices are for the Italian market, so they are listed in Euro currency and they include the massive 22 percent value-added tax (VAT) in Italia. Therefore, due to the high VAT rate and other factors, the last year’s Galaxy S9 prices for the Italian market were €50 higher than other markets’. Moreover, Samsung usually offers more offers and deals specific to the market in the US only.
Therefore, while the Galaxy S10 smartphones are still very expensive devices, they will not be as expensive as you see from these leaked prices.
Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphones: Specifications & Availability
The new report also claims that the Galaxy S10 lineup will come with a hole-punch display which has a hole housing the selfie camera. The Galaxy S10+ will even reportedly come with a dual selfie camera system. Lastly, it is also tipped that these Samsung handsets will be up for sale in the Italian market from 8 March. As noted before, Samsung is expected to hold an event on 20 February to introduce the Galaxy S10 lineup.
Besides, a tipster goes by the name Ishan Agarwal claimed that the cheapest model of the Galaxy S10 would launch under the name Galaxy S10 Lite, not Galaxy S10E. Despite quite a few reports suggesting the latter, the tipster still believes that the model’s name will be Galaxy S10 lite. He also tips that the South Korean phone maker will offer the phone in a total of five colour options, including Yellow, Navy, White, Green, and Blue.
Display size will be one of the most significant differences between the three models. While the Galaxy S10 Lite will feature a 5.8-inch panel, the regular Galaxy S10 will most likely sport a 6.1-inch display and the top-end Galaxy S10+ is tipped to pack a 6.4-inch screen. The Lite model will also reportedly have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, while Samsung will use in-display fingerprint scanners on the Galaxy S10 and S10+. Another Galaxy S10 model with support for 5G connectivity will reportedly launch later in the year, and it is tipped to go by the name Galaxy S10 X.
