After multiple leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally launched a new mid-range smartphone in India, called Samsung Galaxy M31s. This is an upgraded version of the Galaxy M31 that was introduced earlier this year, with many attractive features such as Sony IMX682 64MP camera, faster charging, and large capacity battery.
Samsung Galaxy M31s: Price and release time
The phone will begin shipping in India from 6th August in two color variants, Mirage Blue and Mirage Black. The Samsung Galaxy M31s price starts at Rs 19,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB memory, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB memory version is priced at Rs 21,499.
Samsung Galaxy M31s: Specifications and features
Samsung Galaxy M31s is equipped with a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED screen with Infinity-O design, having Full HD + resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a contrast ratio of 78960: 1, a maximum brightness of 420 nits and accounts for 91% of the front area.
Inside, the Galaxy M31s is powered by the Exynos 9611 processor, paired with LPDDR4x 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card. The device comes pre-installed with Android 10-based One UI 2.1 interface.
Single Take feature.The Galaxy M31s comes with a massive 6,000mAh battery, that supports 25W fast charging via USB-C, and can be fully charged in just 97 minutes. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the side, supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Moving to the back, the Galaxy M31s features a vertical quad-camera system placed in a rectangular module. The rear camera cluster includes a 64MP main Sony IMX682 sensor, a 12MP ultra wide-angle sensor with a 123-degree viewing angle, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. In addition, the device also has a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
Although only a mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy M31s also has the Single Take feature like the S20 series, allowing users to take up to 7 photos and 3 videos at a time. In addition, it can also switch between the front and rear cameras during video recording, hyper-lapse to take better photos in low light, AR Doodle, AR Emoji, 4K video recording ...
