Samsung Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 are two new offerings from the South Korean phone maker. While the former is a budget smartphone, featuring punch-hole design and a dual-camera setup, the latter comes with a punch-hole style and a beefy 5,000 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy M01 & Galaxy M01: Price in India & Availability
The price of the Galaxy M01 in India is set at Rs. 8,999 for a single model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy M11 is available in two options. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model is retailed at Rs. 10,999 while Rs. 12,999 is the price of the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. You can get the Galaxy M01 in Black, Red, and Blue hues while the Samsung Galaxy M11 will come in Black, Violet, and Metallic Blue colorways.
Both models will be available for sales via Samsung’s online & offline stores across the country as well as Flipkart and Amazon.
Samsung Galaxy M01: Specifications & Features
The Galaxy M01 flaunts a 5.71-inch Infinity-V panel with HD+ (1,560 x 720p) resolution, water-drop notch, and 19:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 439 chipset, aided by 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 512GB via the microSD card slot).
For photography, it gets a dual-camera cluster at the back, including a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP portrait camera. For selfies and video calls, the brand packs a 5MP camera on the front. For biometric authentication, users have to rely on Face Unlock feature as the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint reader. Finally, the device is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery and supports Dolby Atmos tech.
Samsung Galaxy M11: Specifications & Features
The Samsung Galaxy M11 rocks a 6.4-inch LCD panel with Infinity-O style, HD+ (1,560 x 720p) resolution, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is quite a surprise to me when this phone is powered by a low-end Snapdragon 450 despite its Rs. 12,999 price tag. The Redmi Note 9 Pro, priced at Rs. 13,999, is equipped with a Snapdragon 720G chipset. As mentioned, the handset is available in two memory configurations, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. Other features include Android 10-based One UI, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro-USB port, and Wi-Fi.
For photography, there are three cameras at the back of the phone, including a 13MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. It also gets an 8MP camera on the front for picturing selfies and calling videos. Unlike the Galaxy M01, you can use the fingerprint sensor mounted at the back of this phone for biometric security. Under the hood, it is stuffed with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging technology.
