Samsung Galaxy M01s is a slightly upgraded model of the Galaxy M01, featuring a 4,000mAh battery, 6.22-inch HD+ display, and 13MP dual rear cameras.

Samsung recently launched a new device in the budget segment, called Samsung Galaxy M01s. This is a slightly upgraded version of the Galaxy M01 launched not too long ago. Despite being an upgraded version, Samsung still decided to sell both devices at the same time.

Samsung Galaxy M01s Feature — Samsung Galaxy M01s comes with some slight upgrades over the Galaxy M01, but it is also equipped with a significant downgrade as well.

The highlight of the Galaxy M01s comes from the 6.2-inch HD + display with the Infinity-V design. Although the bottom chin of the phone is quite thick, according to Samsung, the device has a screen-to-body ratio of 81.8%.

The Samsung Galaxy M01s price in India is set at Rs. 9,999 for its single variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. In comparison, the Galaxy M01 is currently up for sales on Samsung’s official website for Rs. 8,999 for the same memory configuration. The phone will be sold in the country in two color options: Gray and Light Blue.

As mentioned, the Galaxy M01s is equipped with a 6.2-inch HD+ display, featuring a water-drop notch at the top. The display covers 81.8 percent of the front panel and has a 19:9 aspect ratio. A rather odd thing about the Galaxy M01s is that despite being a more recent model, the M01s is equipped with MediaTek Helio P22 chip, which is less powerful compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 chip found on the Galaxy M01. It also has 3GB RAM and 32GB memory similar to its predecessor, with external memory card support.

In terms of cameras, Galaxy M01s is equipped with a dual-camera cluster on the back including a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. It also has an 8MP selfie camera on the front, which is a slight improvement over the 5MP camera on the M01.

Galaxy M01s has a large battery capacity of 4,000mAh but does not support fast charging. It still only uses the traditional micro-USB charging port instead of the more modern and popular USB-C port. On the software front, the Galaxy M01s runs on Android 9 Pie with the One UI interface running on top.
