Earlier this year, Samsung released the Galaxy M31 in India with a starting price of Rs. 14,999. At the moment, due to the recent GST increase, the device’s price goes up to Rs. 15,499. Now, it seems like Samsung is ready to release the successor to this phone called Samsung Galaxy M31s. The phone is rumored to launch at the end of this month, but you will have to wait until August to purchase the phone via offline retailers and Amazon.

This news about the Galaxy M31s launch in India comes from Indo-Asian News Service (IANS). As for the Galaxy M31s specs, the device could come with a Super AMOLED panel with punch-hole style, 6,000mAh battery, and a 64MP quad-camera cluster. It could be priced at around Rs. 20,000, which is a bit higher than the starting price of the Galaxy M31.
According to previous leaks, the Galaxy M31 will be powered by an Exynos 9611 SoC, which is already used on the Galaxy M30s and Galaxy M31. The phone will come with at least a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, but there could be more with 8GB RAM. It will reportedly run on Android 10-based One UI 2 out of the box to take care of the software side of things.
If these specs are accurate, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M31s will be no more than just a slight-upgraded model of the Galaxy M31 with a punch-hole display instead of a water-drop notch one.
