Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is a new budget smartphone launched in India. The device is an Android Go smartphone that features a traditional design with thick bezels on the side, polycarbonate body, and entry-level specs such as a quad-core chipset, 3,000mAh battery, and single rear camera. Not just that, despite its extremely competitive price tag, the Galaxy M01 Core still has Dark Mode for low-light photography, thanks to Samsung’s One UI.

The Galaxy M01 Core is priced at Rs. 5,499 in India for the entry-level model with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. You can also get the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage model for a price of Rs. 6,499.
The device will go on sales in India from 29th July on Samsung’s retail stores, Samsung.com, major online sites, and Samsung Opera House. Red, Blue, and Black are three color variants that you can get for the Galaxy M01 Core.
Samsung Galaxy M01 Core: Specifications & Features
The device comes with a 5.3-inch display that supports HD+ resolution. You can see that the display is surrounded by sizeable bezels at both the top and bottom sides. Powering the phone is a MediaTek 6739 chipset at the helm, paired with 1 / 2GB of RAM and 16 / 32GB of storage. In terms of camera, it is equipped with a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls while there is a single 8MP camera at the back with an LED flash. Under the hood, Samsung packs a 3,000 mAh battery to fuel the phone.
As mentioned, the Galaxy M01 Core is an Android Go phone. It means the device runs on Android Go out of the box along with Samsung’s One UI running on top. It comes with Android Go apps and features, including Suggest Notification (low battery warning), Intelligent Photos (find and delete duplicate or similar photos), and ‘Smart Paste’ to copy or paste text.
