During CES 2020, Samsung has a closed-door meeting with its partners and might have revealed the name of its upcoming foldable phone. As shared by SamMobile, citing a report from Aju News, a South Korean publication, the smartphone is said to bend vertically like Motorola’s new Razr foldable phone and will be called Galaxy Bloom instead of Galaxy Fold 2.

Samsung is also rumored to be revealing its next foldable smartphone at its Unpacked event on February 11. On the other hand, the tech giant may also unveil the successor to the S10, which is currently called the S11. However, more recent rumors say that the handset will be dubbed Galaxy S20, not S11.
The report also mentions more coming phones, including the Galaxy S20 Ultra as well as the Galaxy S20 Plus. All these phones will come with support for video recording at 8K resolution.

Talking about foldable phones, Samsung is undeniably the innovator. The fact that it became of the first company to release a foldable phone for sale not only says that it works towards innovation but is also proof that the firm was brave enough and took the risk to step into a new area. Earlier this year, after announcing the Galaxy Fold at its Unpacked event, the Korean tech giant faced negative reviews about how fragile the device was. Samsung had to delay the launch for a few months to fix the flaws of its screen, but when the phone officially went on sale, it still seemed quite fragile though the problems were partly fixed.
The second foldable phone is rumored to be priced at under $1,000, making Samsung the first maker to offer users a selection of foldable phones. When the so-called Galaxy Bloom comes out, users will be able to choose between a clamshell or a book-like design.
