Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 & Galaxy Note 20 Production Starts Soon, To Launch As Scheduled

Despite the uncertainty of the global market, Samsung will continue to launch its next foldable phone called Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 as planned by the company months ago. According to the report, the South Korean phone maker is expected to start mass-producing components of this foldable smartphone next month, more precisely in mid-May.
At the moment, the company has completed the trial production run of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, as well as finalizing its and is expected to announce it in August. Some sources say the company will start assembling the Galaxy Fold 2 in a few weeks after the first components are manufactured.
In other words, we might see the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 as early as June. In the past, many Samsung smartphones have been revealed in live photos ahead of the official launch, Therefore, Galaxy Fold 2 should be no exception.
The Galaxy Fold 2 is said to launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, although it remains to be seen whether Samsung's upcoming Unpacked event will be held online or offline. Either way, this will be Samsung's third foldable smartphone, following the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Fold steps.
According to a report from SamMobile, the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a lower starting price than its predecessor Galaxy Fold. In addition, this phone is expected to be lighter as well. For now, it's unclear whether the company will release an LTE version of the Galaxy Fold 2, though it will certainly have a 5G version.
