Galaxy A70 is the latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy A series in 2019. This new Samsung Galaxy A70 has one of the biggest displays on Samsung smartphones, and it also comes with an on-screen fingerprint scanner, a triple rear camera setup, a Snapdragon 670 chipset, and a large battery with support for 25W fast charging standard. However, the South Korean phone maker hasn’t revealed the exact pricing and availability of the Galaxy A70 in any market, but it will release more in the upcoming event on 10 April.

Galaxy A70: Specs & Features
As mentioned, the handset sports one of the biggest display among all Galaxy A phones. It boasts a massive 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with a 2,400 x 1,080p resolution with a dewdrop notch on top. The display may sound a bit too big for you, but it actually measures 76.7mm wide – which is comparable with the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy A7 (2018).
For security, it has an on-screen fingerprint scanner embedded under the screen. Similar to the recently-launched Galaxy A50, this new handset shares the same “3D Glasstic” build. At the core, the handset packs a Snapdragon 670 chipset and runs the latest Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top. Samsung also integrates a Night Mode for better viewing under low-light conditions.
Paired with the chipset is 6GB / 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD slot up to 512GB.

On the imaging front, the phone comes with a triple camera system on the rear, comprising of a 32MP main sensor, a secondary 8MP shooter with an ultra-wide lens, and a third 5MP sensor for depth sensing. Up front, there is a 32MP selfie camera placed on the front water-drop notch. It is touted to come with a scene optimizers that can identify up to 20 scenes and it can also automatically adjust its camera settings to deliver the best output.
Powering the phone is a large 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging standard. It will come in a total of four color variants, including White, Black, Coral, and Blue.
