The specifications and design of the Samsung Galaxy A60 have appeared online before its coming launch. It comes after Samsung unveiled 3 new smartphones in its Galaxy A lineup including the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A30, and the Galaxy A10. According to the leak, the upcoming Galaxy A60 seems to sport a bigger Super AMOLED display with a better selfie and rear cameras, and a battery with higher capacity over the Galaxy A50.
The phone image was posted by PriceKart and its specs came from a Weibo post. Here are the specs and design of the upcoming Galaxy A60.
Samsung Galaxy A60 Specifications, Features
The device is reported to flaunt 3D Glasstic construction like that of the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30. Additionally, the handset probably sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with Infinity U interface, an on-screen fingerprint sensor, and a U-style notch.
The notch houses a 32MP front-facing camera (ISOCELL GD1 of Samsung), higher than the Galaxy A50’s 25MP front-facing camera. Besides, the handset has a triple rear camera set including either a 32MP or a 35MP wide-angle shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 5MP depth shooter. The Galaxy A60 will also be equipped with a LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) feature. It is also able to take photos with blurred background and record videos with 4K quality at 30fps. Therefore, the phone’s camera can be much better than the current smartphones in the Galaxy A lineup.
Regarding the performance, the upcoming smartphone is expected to run on the One UI interface based on the Android 9 Pie. It will also be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC with Adreno 612 GPU, a 2Ghz dual-core Kryo 460 Gold CPU, and a 1.7GHz six-core Kryo 460 Silver CPU. The chipset is identical to that of Vivo V15 Pro and Redmi Note 7 which have been recently launched. Furthermore, the device will have 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Powering the phone with the larger 6.7-inch display is a battery with a capacity of 4,500mAh. Samsung also equips the Galaxy A60 with the 15W fast charging solution like the smartphones in the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series.
Additionally, the device is expected to have a dual-SIM slot, Wifi Direct, Wifi Dual Band, USB-C port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.0. It appears that the device will have a loudspeaker at its bottom next to the USB-C port. In addition, whether the phone comes with Samsung Pay or the IP68 certification for water and dust resistance remains unknown.
