Samsung Galaxy A51 5G Reportedly In The Works With Exynos 980 SoC

Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will reportedly carry an Exynos 980 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and Android 10, according to its listing on Geekbench.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 was first announced in December and made its way to India on 29 January. However, it seems like Samsung is working on the 5G version of the phone as a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-A516N has just passed through Geekbench.
The listing of the phone on Geekbench reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G will feature a Samsung Exynos 980 chipset and 6GB of RAM. In terms of software, it will ship with Android 10 pre-installed. That is all we can get from the Geekbench listing.
However, previous rumors suggested that the device could pack 128GB of storage and will be first released in South Korea.
Samsung Galaxy A51: Specifications
The device sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel, supporting Full-HD+ resolution and featuring a Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer. It draws power from an Exynos 9611 SoC, aided by 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of UFS 2.0 storage. For security, there is an under-display fingerprint sensor available. Under the hood, it packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
In terms of camera, it is equipped with quad rear cameras, which are 48MP main sensor with an f/2.0 lens, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. On the front, users can use a 32MP camera for selfies and video chats.
Even though the phone is introduced in three memory configurations, Samsung India only offers a single model of the phone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Samsung Galaxy A51 price in India is Rs. 23,999 via both online and offline channels.
