Samsung Galaxy A20 Launched In India With 6.4-Inch Display & 4,000mAh Battery

After launching the Galaxy A20 in Russia in March, Samsung has now released the phone in the Indian market, and it is the fourth addition to the Galaxy A series in India. The new Galaxy A20 is launched in the budget segment that comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED panel, a dual camera setup, and also a large battery. Under the hood, it comes packed with a Samsung-made Exynos 7884 SoC and ships with the latest Android 9 Pie at launch with Samsung’s One UI on top.

Galaxy A20: Price
The Galaxy A20 is priced at Rs. 12,490 in India, and it will be up for sale from 10 April. Samsung will sell the phone via its e-Store, major e-commerce sites, Samsung Opera House, and also offline retail stores. It will come in three color variants, Black, Blue, and Red.

The handset packs a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with an HD+ (1,560 x 720p) resolution and Infinity-V notch. Similar to other phones in the Galaxy A series in the same segment, it also has a polycarbonate build and a small notch on the front to house a selfie camera. As mentioned, it’s powered by Samsung-made octa-core Exynos 7884 processor which is the same as on the Samsung Galaxy A10. It also packs 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage that can be expanded up to 512GB. As for software, the handset ships with Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s One UI on top.

On the imaging front, it has a dual camera setup on the rear, including a 13MP main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. Up front, it comes with a single 8MP camera for taking selfies and video calling. It is backed by a 4,000mAh cell with support for 15W fast charging and a USB-C port. For security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
