Samsung Announced Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, & Galaxy A50 In India

Samsung just announced three new Galaxy A (2019) phones in the Indian market, including the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50.

Samsung has just announced some new phones in its Galaxy A (2019) series in the Indian market. The giant phone maker unveiled the Galaxy A10, A30, and A50. They are all new additions to the mid-range segment with higher battery capacity, up to triple cameras on the rear, bezel-less displays, and an octa-core SoC. Additionally, all three Galaxy A phones run the company’s OneUI which is based on Android 9.0 Pie at launch.

Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50: Price
The Galaxy A10 is the most affordable one of the three with a price of Rs. 8,490 for the option with 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage while the Galaxy A30 variant with 4GB RAM/64GB storage is priced at Rs. 16,990. The most premium phone, the Galaxy A50, will cost Rs. 19,990 for the option with 4GB of RAM and Rs. 22,990 for the model with 6GB RAM.
The Galaxy A30 and A50 will be up for sale from 2 March while Galaxy A10 will be available from 20 March via Samsung’s online store, and some e-commerce sites.
Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50: Specifications
Starting with the Galaxy A10, it sports a 6.2-inch Infinity-V HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The most affordable phone in the Galaxy A lineup is powered by a Samsung’s Exynos 7884B SoC, coupled with 2GB RAM/32GB of expandable internal storage. In terms of camera, it sports a single 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. It is backed by a 3,400 mAh cell without a fingerprint scanner anywhere.
The Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 were already introduced globally earlier and showcased at the this year’s Mobile World Congress. Both of them sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with Samsung’s Infinity-U design and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. As mentioned, the Infinity-U display of both the A30 and A50 will have a U-shape notch on top which will house a selfie camera. Besides those, the two will both have a “3D Glasstic” design and a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging standard via a USB-C port.
The Galaxy A30 is powered by a Samsung’s Exynos 7904 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM/64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD slot. In the imaging department, Samsung goes for a dual camera setup in the rear, including a 16MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and a 5MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens paired with a single LED flash. On the front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. For security, it has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A50 packs an Exynos 9610 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM/64GB storage or 6GB RAM/64GB storage which is expandable via a microSD slot up to 512GB. On the rear, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 25MP main sensor and an aperture of f/1.7. The main sensor is backed with a 5MP secondary depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP third sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens and an f/2.2 aperture. For taking selfies and video calling, Samsung opts for a 25MP selfie camera on the front.
