Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is expected to launch its latest flagship model Redmi K30 Pro in China this month, but it seems that it is not all. Recently, XDA-Developers have dissected the latest MIUI 11 Developer Beta version and discovered the names of some upcoming Xiaomi / Redmi smartphones. Specifically, they include the Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi 10X 4G.
The upcoming Redmi K30 Pro will be a 5G smartphone using the Snapdragon 865 processor. In addition, it was recently teased to come with a dual-selfie camera housed in a pop-up module and nearly full-screen display. On the back, we will have a system of four cameras arranged vertically with a 64MP main sensor.
The phone may come with a 4,700mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. Currently, there is no information regarding the specifications of the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. However, from the name, we can speculate that this will be a more advanced version of the Redmi K30 Pro, with more powerful zoom capabilities.
Earlier today, Manu Kumar Jain - Xiaomi's managing director in India, shared a new photo on his new Tweet to "tease" about the upcoming Redmi Note 9.
Looking at the image above, you can easily recognize the appearance of Redmi K20 Pro (in the hands of Manu Jain), Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi 5a (in front of Manu Jain) or even Redmi 1S (Black). However, there is a "mysterious" phone half covered by a newspaper and this could be the Redmi Note 9.
If the above speculation is correct, the Redmi Note 9 will have a glass back while the bottom edge is where the speakerphone, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port are located. The device is confirmed to launch in India on March 12. However, its specifications are still a mystery.
As for the Redmi 10X 4G, this will be a brand new device. Xiaomi has sold a lot of smartphones with the "X" suffix in the name, such as Mi 5X and Mi 6X. However, this is the first time we've heard of a Redmi phone with the ‘X’ suffix. In addition, from the name, it is speculated that this device will have a version that supports the 5G network.
