Redmi Note 7 Sold Out In 8 Mins, Next Sale Confirmed

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 was sold out in just 8 minutes in the first sale today and it is confirmed that the second sale will be on 19 January.

Xiaomi has finally unveiled the first phone from its Redmi subsidiary on 9 January 2019. With impressive hardware specs for its price, the upcoming Redmi Note 7 will likely to cause a hard time for other phone brands to compete at the price range. And it is further shown by the fact that the Redmi Note 7 was up for sale earlier today and it was sold out in just around 8 minutes, indicating a very high demand for the handset.

Redmi Note 7 Was Sold Out in just 8 Minutes
The first sale of the Redmi Note 7 in the Chinese market saw a total of 1,00,000 units sold in just 8 minutes and 36 seconds. Half of those phones were sold via the official Mi Store while the rest were distributed via third-party channels such as TMall and JD.com. CEO of Redmi, Lu Weibing showed his appreciation and excitement to Xiaomi fans on his Weibo. Many fans were worried whether Xiaomi could fulfill such as demand.

However, product manager of Redmi confirmed that the phone maker would sell 1 million phones by the end of this month. Moreover, Redmi also revealed that the second sale of the handset would not be too far away as it would be up at 10:00 AM on 18 January.
Redmi Note 7: Specifications and Features
Despite having a very aggressive price tag, the Redmi Note 7 still comes with a Snapdragon 660 SoC and a 48MP camera on the rear with a 5MP sensor for depth sensing as well. On the front, there is a 13MP camera located in a water-drop notch. The phone also sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ LCD and comes packed with a 4,000 mAh battery with USB-C port and support for Quick Charge 4.0.

Redmi Note 7 Price
The Redmi Note 7 is priced at a very competitive price of RMB 999 (around Rs. 10,500) for the variant with 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage. There are also an option with 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage at RMB 1,199 (around Rs. 12,500) and 6GB of RAM/64GB of storage at RMB 1,399 (around Rs. 14,500)
