Redmi K30 4G Specs Sheet Surfaced Online; 120Hz Display & Snapdragon 730G Tipped

According to a Chinese source, the upcoming Redmi K30 4G will come with a Snapdragon 730G SoC and 120Hz display as key specifications.

The Redmi K30 is expected to arrive as a successor to the popular Redmi K20 series and many people have very high expectations for it. There have been quite a few rumors and leaks about the handset recently. Now, alleged specifications of the Redmi K30 4G have just surfaced online, giving us several details about the forthcoming handset. The specs sheet for the 4G model is shared by a reputable Chinese source. According to the sheet, the Redmi K30 will feature a 120Hz display, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security, and NFC support as well. Aside from the 4G model, the company is also expected to release a 5G model as well.

Redmi K30 4G: Expected Price & Availability
The price of the Redmi K30 is tipped to be CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 20,300) in the Chinese market for the 4G version, while users might need to pay at least CNY 2,500 (roughly Rs. 25,300) for the Redmi K30 5G model with a Snapdragon 735 5G SoC.
The handset has already been confirmed to arrive in China on 10 December this year.
Redmi K30 4G: Expected specifications
As per the specs sheet, the Redmi K30 will sport a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole at the top to house two selfie camera. The display will be protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 730G octa-core chipset and there will be multiple memory configurations with 6GB RAM / 64GB storage base variant. For software, it is tipped to come with Android 10 pre-loaded and Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 atop. Fueling the entire setup will reportedly be a 4,500 mAh battery that is backed by 27W fast charging technology.

On the imaging department, it will carry two selfie cameras on the front, one of which is a 20MP main sensor and the other being a 2MP depth-sensing shooter. At the back, there should be a quad-camera lens system, including a 60MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP telephoto unit, and a 2MP depth sensor.
