Realme Race is officially confirmed to be Realme’s first flagship with the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The Realme Race launch was said to be reportedly taking place in the first half of this year. Now, Realme China’s President Xu Qi has just shared a teaser of the phone on Weibo. He said that the handset will be launched after the spring festival, which will start on February 11 and end on February 17. This timeline is somewhat expected since its rival Redmi is also planning to release the Redmi K40 series next month, with the Pro version featuring a Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Realme Race: Specifications & Features
Realme Race specs will reportedly include a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 125W fast charging support, and a 5,000mAh battery. The handset is also tipped to feature a 64MP main camera on the rear and the popular punch-hole style on the front. Sadly, these are all details we’ve got about the handset. A recent report suggested that the brand is also working on a Pro version called Realme Race Pro with even more high-end specifications.
Realme Race Pro: Specifications & Features
This high-end smartphone will likely be equipped with a large 6.8-inch OLED panel with Quad-HD+ resolution, a 160Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone should still be a Snapdragon 888 chipset, aided by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
For photography, the device will reportedly feature a triple-camera lens setup on the rear, including a 64MP main sensor and two 13MP lenses. It should run on the latest Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0 on top. Finally, we expect to see a 5,000mAh battery on this phone along with 125W fast charging support.
