It appears that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the POCO M3 in India as the brand has just teased the phone via a promo video on its POCO India YouTube channel. The device debuted in November and the Indian version was first spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification in December. Its specs include a Snapdragon 662 SoC, 48MP triple rear cameras, a 6,000mAh battery, and a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ display.

Even though the aforementioned promo video doesn’t mention when the POCO M3 launch in India will take place, tipster Mukul Sharma recently suggested that the device could make its way to India next month. In the video, Xiaomi teases the phone and shows off users’ reactions towards the smartphone’s performance. As for the POCO M3 price in India, we expect it to be around Rs. 10,000.
POCO M3: Specifications & Features
We doubt that Xiaomi would change anything on the Indian version in comparison to the global one. If that is the case, the Indian version will feature a 6.53-inch display on the front with Full-HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 chipset, aided by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the software side of things, the handset runs on Android 10 out of the box, with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 on top.

For photography, you will get a triple-camera lens setup on the rear, consisting of a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP lens for close-up shots. There is also a single 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. As mentioned, the device packs a beefy 6,000 mAh battery that supports fast charging at 18W. Finally, connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPs, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C port.
POCO M3 price: around Rs. 9,400
