Realme C12 & Realme C15 Landed In India: Gaming Chipset & 6,000mAh Battery

Both the Realme C12 and Realme C15 come with a gaming chipset, large display, and a massive 6,000mAh battery at a starting price of Rs. 8,990.

After leaks and rumors, Realme finally announces two new smartphones in the Indian market, which are Realme C12 and Realme C15. These two devices come with large display, beefy battery, and Android 10.

Realme C12 & Realme C15: Price in India

The Realme C12 only comes in a single color variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage for Rs. 8,999. You can start purchasing the phone from 24th August via Realme.com and Flipkart.

As for the Realme C15 price in India, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model is retailed at Rs. 9,999 while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 10,999. The handset will be available for sales via Realme.com and Flipkart from 27th August.

Both phones will come in Power Blue and Power Silver color options. At the event, the Chinese brand also launched Realme Buds Classic for just Rs. 399. It will go on sales for the first time on the same day as the Realme C12, 24th August.

Realme C15: Specifications & Features

The device gets a 6.5-inch LCD panel on the front with a dewdrop notch at the top to house a selfie camera. The display supports HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ration, and is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass. Powering the phone is an Helio G35 chipset, aided by 3/4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card). The device is equipped with a fingerprint reader at the back for security and boots Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box.

For photography, there is a quad-camera array at the back of this phone, consisting of a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle snapper with a 119-degree viewing angle, a B&W sensor, and a retro sensor. For picturing selfies, it gets a single 8MP camera on the front, hidden behind the water-drop notch. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, micro-USB port, headphone jack, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou. Finally, the whole package is fueled by a massive 6,000mAh battery, that can be quickly refilled with 18W fast charging technology.

Realme C12: Specifications & Features

It seems like the C12 is pretty much the same as the C15 with some downgrades mostly in the camera and battery department. he Realme C12 sports the same 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and water-drop notch as the REalme C15. It is also powered by the same Helio G35 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Android 10-based Realme UI and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor are other similarities between the two phones.

In terms of camera, this device is equipped with a triple-camera setup, which is nearly identical to that of the C15 without the ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front, there is a single 5MP camera put behind the water-drop notch for selfies and video calls. Just like the C15, Realme also packs a 6,000 mAh battery on this phone, but the charging time will be significantly reduced because it only supports standard 10W charging technology.
