Realme 6 is slated to make its debut in India on 5th March along with Realme 6 Pro. Realme India has already created a landing page on its official website and reveals several key details of the duo. With only a couple of days until the official event, The Unbiased Blog has posted a render revealing the front design of the two smartphones. The site also tipped the pricing of the duo as well.
You can see on the new rendered photo that both Realme 6 and 6 Pro will sport a punch-hole display. However, while the vanilla model has a single punch-hole, the Pro variant will have two selfie cameras housed in a pill-shaped punch-hole. The camera setup of the 6 Pro is tipped to include a primary sensor and an ultra-wide camera.
In addition, the vanilla model's display is said to support a 60Hz refresh rate while the Pro model should carry a 90Hz screen. Both of them will sport an IPS LCD panel and that means they won’t have an in-display fingerprint sensor. Therefore, our guess is that the fingerprint sensor will be mounted on either at the back or on the side (similar to the POCO X2). Back to the front, the two smartphones have a sizable chin at the bottom, but other bezels are quite thin.
Separately, the Realme 6 has just been spotted on benchmark platform Geekbench with model number RMX2001. The listing shows that the handset will come with an Helio G90 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and boot Android 10 out of the box, possibly with Realme UI atop. With that setup, it earned respective scores of 508 and 1,633 points in the single-core and multi-core tests.
Finally, the leak also reveals that the vanilla Realme 6 will be priced at Rs. 9,999 for the base model while the Pro model's starting price will be Rs. 13,999.
