Realme 3 Pro Will Have A New Variant With 8GB Of RAM In July

Realme India's CEO confirmed that the company will launch a new option of the Realme 3 Pro with 8GB of RAM in the country sometime in July.

Oppo’s former sub-brand Realme will reportedly launch a new memory configuration of the Realme 3 Pro with 8GB of RAM by July this year, according to Realme India’s CEO Madhav Sheth. To recall, the brand announced its Realme 3 Pro just a few days ago in two memory configurations, including 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage model and 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage.

According to Sheth said in an interview, he confirmed that the Realme 3 Pro will come in another option with 8GB RAM/128GB of storage and the brand will launch the variant somewhere in July this year in India. He further revealed that the pricing of this handset which is around the Rs. 18,000 mark. To recall, the company also offered an 8GB of RAM option of last year’s Realme 2 Pro, whose price was Rs. 17,990.
However, options of the Realme 3 Pro have all been priced Rs. 1,000 higher. The base option with 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage costs Rs. 13,999 while the 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage sets you back by Rs. 16,999. It will be up for sale via the company’s official website and Flipkart from 29 April.
Realme 3 Pro: Specs & Features

The handset sports a 6.3-inch LCD 2.5D curved panel with Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340p) resolution with a water-drop notch on top. Its display is also protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 710 chipset with an Adreno 616 GPU.

In terms of camera, the phone features dual cameras on the rear, including a 16MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, there is a 25MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 for taking selfies and video calling. As for software, the phone runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie with Oppo’s ColorOS 6 on top. There is a 4,045mAh battery keeping the phone running with support for 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging and a micro-USB port. Lastly, it comes with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear for security.
