The release event of the Galaxy S10 lineup is getting very close already, ending the long list of leaks around the flagship lineup. However, ahead of launch, there are still some new details of the Samsung handsets. The phone maker will obviously announce some new devices in the event held in San Francisco on 20 February. One of those devices will surely include the top-end model of the Galaxy S10+ that is tipped to be the first phone to pack a massive 1TB of internal storage and also a whopping 12GB RAM. It is also said to come with a ceramic build. However, it also comes at a quite ‘massive’ price tags which were leaked in the Chinese market yesterday.
Samsung Galaxy S10+: Expected price
According to tipster Evan Blass, the phone will come in a total of five colour variants with two of them being ceramic models which are Ceramic Black and Ceramic White. However, you may also notice the price tag of CNY 10,000 (around Rs. 1,05,600) for the top-end variant with 1TB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM. The option with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is CNY 1,000 cheaper at CNY 9,000 (around Rs. 95,000).
Though the pricing of the Galaxy S10 lineup may be slightly changed in the Indian market as Samsung tends to apply more premium pricing in other markets compared to ours. Therefore, the price might be softened a little bit when the Galaxy S10 lineup comes to India. The new leak also suggests that the top-end model on the Galaxy S10 series will still launch under the name Galaxy S10+ instead of Galaxy S10 Pro as tipped earlier.
The Galaxy S10+ is confirmed to come with a dual selfie camera setup on the front while the other two models only sport a single selfie camera. Previously, the Galaxy S10 phones were also tipped to be the first to feature OIS-enabled front cameras. The device will also come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor as well as the reverse wireless charging feature that has already been seen on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Alongside Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10, the South Korean maker is also expected to launch the affordable Galaxy S10e as well as several accessories such as Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Buds, and Galaxy Fit.
