POCO X3 India Launch Date Revealed, To Come With Even Bigger Battery

The POCO X3 launch in India has finally been confirmed, and it will take place on 22nd September. The news is revealed by POCO India's recent tweet. Interestingly, the global version of the phone was announced with the name POCO X3 NFC, but the tweet only mentions the name POCO X3. Not just that, the brand's latest tweet also hints that the Indian version of the phone might come with an even beefier battery with a 6,000mAh capacity.
Previously, POCO’s general manager C Manmohan already teased the device’s launch in the country. According to the teaser by the executive, the handset’s price in India could be higher than Rs. 20,000. To recall, the highlights of the POCO X3 include gaming-centric Snapdragon 732G chipset, 120Hz display, 5,160 mAh battery, and 64MP quad rear camera.
POCO X3: Specifications & Features
The device features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole in the top center, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the phone is the new gaming chipset, dubbed Snapdragon 732G, along with an Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card). For software, it is pre-loaded with Android 10-based MIUI 12.
In the imaging department, the device is equipped with four cameras at the back, consisting of a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP portrait camera. On the front, a 20MP selfie shooter is sitting inside the punch-hole. As mentioned, the device has a beefy 5,160 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology. Other features include USB-C port, IP53 rating, Bluetooth 5.1, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and infrared sensor.
