In recent years, OnePlus usually released two high-end smartphone series each year. The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro duo have been around for about 5 months, and the brand is expected to introduce the next-generation OnePlus 8T.

Many previous sources have revealed that the upcoming flagship series of OnePlus will only include a single OnePlus 8T model, without the arrival of the Pro version as we often see in the last two years.

Leakster OnLeaks and Pricebaba recently shared some rendered photos and a 360-degree video revealing the detailed design of the upcoming OnePlus 8T. According to these images, we can see that the device will have a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy S20 series.
The OnePlus 8T has a different camera placement compared to the current 8 and 8 Pro versions. Instead of stacking in a vertical line, the cluster of four new cameras with a flash will be arranged in a C shape, placed in a rectangular module in the left corner. The camera setup of the handset will include a 48MP wide-angle camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth-measuring camera.
The front of the phone will still be covered by the same Fluid AMOLED screen with a single punch-hole style. This screen will feature Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which is significantly upgraded from 90Hz on the OnePlus 8 generation. Unfortunately, this screen is still a flat screen, not curved on the sides like the OnePlus 8 Pro. This shows that there could be another 8T Pro version launched at a later date.

In terms of configuration, the OnePlus 8T is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 8GB / 12GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage. The battery of the device will reportedly have a capacity of 4,500mAh and support 65W fast charging technology.
At the moment, there is no information about the launch date of the OnePlus 8T. Last year, the OnePlus 7T duo launched in late September, so it is likely that later this month will also be the time when OnePlus introduces its new flagship.
