The Oppo Reno 4 5G is one great-looking phone with a big bright screen and fast charging support. The camera, even though, isn’t best-in-class and doesn’t have an optical zoom is good. The screen is a 60Hz. So don’t expect silky smooth scrolling like on the OnePlus Nord. Putting all of these aside, with plenty of RAM, storage, and battery, and a buttery smooth interface, the smartphone still impresses. Oppo Reno 4 5G price in India is expected to be Rs 31,999. Check out our Oppo Reno 4 5G review to find out more about the device.

Oppo Reno 4 5G Release Date
Oppo launched the Reno 4 5G alongside the Reno 4Z and 4 Pro in October 2020 for markets outside China.
Oppo Reno 4 5G Price
In the UK and Australia, the price of the Oppo Reno 4 5G is £499 / AU$799, around $665. Oppo Reno 4 5G price in India is rumored to be Rs 31,999.
Oppo Reno 4 5G Design
The Reno 4 has a flat Gorilla Glass 3 front and a flat plastic back. They are united by a curvy, solid plastic frame. Reno adds to the device a modern spin, a cut-out for the dual-lens selfie.
Despite being made of plastic, the back of the phone is one of the most glass-a-like plastic. The curvy frame feels secure and robust in the hand.
The Reno 4 weighs 183g and has a thickness of 7.8mm. It is either too heavy or thick. And with its 6.4-inch display, it isn’t a small phone either. For context, the device is smaller than the iPhone 12 Pro Max but bigger than the iPhone 12 Pro.
At the base of the phone is a mono speaker and a USB-C port. On the right is a power button. And on the left are the volume buttons.
The Oppo Reno 4 5G comes with a case to help fend off fingerprints. The smartphone isn’t IP68 rated though.
Oppo Reno 4 5G Display
The real highlight of the smartphone is the screen. The Oppo Reno 4 5G comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the display. The screen comes loaded with many options, from color temperature controls to eye-saving blue light filters, screen color mode customizations, and more in the display settings.
The screen delivers zingy colors and inky blacks with 600 nits of max brightness. It has broad viewing angles as well, making it an enjoyable display to watch.
Oppo Reno 4 5G Camera
The 48MP main camera of the Oppo Reno 4 5G uses Sony IMX586 sensor. What it can do is impressive. The image processing of the device isn’t over-processed and abrasively zingy. With good lighting, the photos can look stunning. The Reno 4 doesn’t have optical image stabilization. However, photos taken with indoor lighting don’t look bad.
The Reno 4 5G doesn’t have an optical zoom camera. The 8MP ultra-wide camera doesn’t perform well in low-light conditions, meaning it is meant to use for well-lit landscapes primarily. The third sensor is a 2Mp depth sensor.
The device can record videos up to 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.
Oppo Reno 4 5G Specs & Performance
The Oppo Reno 4 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. This is the chip used in some pricey phones like the Google Pixel 5 and the Motorola Razr 2020. Although it is not the most powerful chip around, it has been established as being good enough for smooth day-to-day experiences.
Despite having modest scores in Geekbench benchmark: 605 single-core and 1,762 multi-core, the smartphone is still capable of casual gaming. With Oppo’s Color OS, day-to-day operation is really fast.
It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is plentiful. For someone who needs more storage, they should look elsewhere since the storage of the phone isn’t expandable. The Oppo Reno 4 5G doesn’t have a microSD card slot, just a dual-SIM slot.
Oppo Reno 4 5G Battery
The smartphone comes with a 4,000mAh battery. And with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging supported, the Oppo Reno 4 5G only takes 36 minutes to go from 0 to 100%. It can last a whole day with no issues. When streaming a Full HD video with brightness set to maximum in 90 minutes, the battery drains only 12%.
There is a Super Power Saving Mode and Power Saving Mode to save extra battery life. For gamers, the smartphone also comes with a high-performance mode but this will drain power faster.
