OPPO has confirmed that it will release the OPPO Reno 3 Pro in India on 2 March. The Indian version of this phone will be different from its model in China that launched last December. The new model will come with two instead of a single selfie camera on the front. It will include a 44MP main sensor and a depth sensor. With a 44MP main selfie camera, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will be the first phone in the country with such a high-resolution selfie shooter.
For now, OPPO hasn’t revealed many details about the Indian version of the Reno 3 Pro, but several photos of its dummy units have shared online and they reveal that the device will come with a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary sensor instead of the 48MP unit on the Chinese model. The camera setup will still be located at the top left corner of the rear panel.
In addition, the leaked photo also shows that the handset will support OPPO’s VOOC FlashCharge 4.0 (30W). Both units on the image are shown to pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but there could be several more memory configurations as well, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The other specs of the Indian OPPO Reno 3 Pro should be the same as the Chinese one. However, we could see another difference and that is the chipset. To recall, the device was announced in China with a Snapdragon 765G and 5G connectivity. Since the 5G network hasn’t been a thing in India, the brand might use the Snapdragon 730G on the Indian version instead.
As for the OPPO Reno 3 Pro price in India, we haven’t got any details about that, but we are certain that the handset will be distributed via Flipkart and Amazon India in India since both of them have already listed the device on their websites.
