It seems like the OPPO Reno 3 Pro is very close to arriving in India. Previously, the handset was reported to come with two significantly different specifications compared to the Chinese version. Instead of a single punch-hole display, the Indian version will have two selfie cameras housed in a pill-shaped punch-hole. Not just that, the main selfie camera will reportedly have 44MP resolution and that will make the OPPO Reno 3 Pro the first phone in the world to feature such high-resolution selfie shooter. Now, a promotional banner has been leaked by an industry source, confirming the 44MP dual selfie cameras.
On the promotional poster, you can clearly see the name OPPO Reno 3 Pro and the line ‘44MP dual punch-hole camera’. That pretty much confirms previous rumors about its selfie camera setup. In addition, the poster also shows a part of the front and back panels of the phone. The pill-shaped punch-hole will be placed at the upper left corner of the display and that seems to be the only difference in terms of design between the Indian and Chinese versions. Last month, YouTuber Arun Maini also shared a photo of a smartphone with dual punch-hole and it was later speculated to be the OPPO Reno 3 Pro.
Around the back, there will still be vertically-stacked quad rear cameras. The setup will likely include a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and a 13MP telephoto lens.
Apart from the different selfie camera setup, the handset will also reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 730G instead of a Snapdragon 765G as on the Chinese variant. The reason is that 5G connectivity hasn’t been available in India yet. Other specs of the device can expect to remain the same. You will still see a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display that supports the 90Hz refresh rate. It will run on Android 10 at launch and pack a 4,025 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging technology.
However, we are not sure whether the OPPO Reno 3 Pro will be available in multiple memory configurations just like it was in China. To recall, the handset was priced at around Rs. 40,800 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 46,000 for the 12GB RAM / 256GB model. As for the OPPO Reno 3 Pro price in India, we are not sure whether it will be higher or lower than the Chinese version since it is upgraded to 44MP dual selfie cameras but downgraded to a Snapdragon 730G instead of the newer Snapdragon 765G.
