OPPO is expected to release two new flagship smartphones in the near future - OPPO Find X2 & OPPO Find X2 Pro. After bagging certifications in Thailand, Russia, and India, the two forthcoming smartphones have also received Wi-Fi Alliance certification. In the database, the Find X2 is listed with the CPH2023 model number, while the Find X2 Pro carries the CPH2025 model number. Aside from that, the latter is also spotted on the benchmark platform Geekbench with 12GB RAM and Snapdragon 865 SoC. Sadly, the duo was about to be introduced at the MWC 2020, but since the event is now canceled, OPPO has announced to move the event to a later date in March.

According to the Wi-Fi Alliance of the OPPO Find X2, the handset will support dual-band Wi-Fi ab/b/g/n/ac standard as well as WPA2 & WPA3 security. The Find X2 Pro with the CPH2025 model number also has the same support for those connectivity standards. The listing also shows that the two smartphones ship with Android 10 out of the box. However, we believe that they should run on OPPO’s ColorOS 7 on top.
As mentioned, the Find X2 Pro has also passed through the benchmark platform Geekbench. According to the listing, the handset will come with 12GB of RAM and a chipset with the codename ‘kona’. That is the codename for the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 chipset. Moreover, it also confirms the Android 10 availability on the handset.

Besides, the two smartphones could also pack 120Hz screen with support for QHD+ resolution. In addition, they could also support the 65W SuperVOOC fast charging standard. We would have got much more information about the two phones at their official launch if the MWC 2020 event hadn’t been canceled. Now, we have to wait until March and the exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
