OPPO Find X2 series has been confirmed to make its debut on 6th March. The lineup will include OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, with the former having CPH2023 model number and the latter bearing model number of CPH2025. We have already had a sufficient understanding of the two smartphones. But now we can see their differences via a new photo shared on Weibo. However, it is worth noting that we can’t confirm the reliability of this photo, so you should take it with a pinch of salt.
Let’s start with their similarities first. The OPPO Find X2 and OPPO Find X2 Pro will both be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. On the front, they will rock a 10-bit 6.7-inch curved Super AMOLED panel with punch-hole design, QHD+ resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. They will both be equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader for biometric security. Other similarities include 32MP Sony IMX616 selfie camera, 65W Super FlashCharge 2.0 support, up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage, and Android 10-based ColorOS 7.1 to take care of the software side of things.
Moving to the differences, they mostly differ in terms of camera and battery capacity. Apart from the photo, you can also check out the video below to get more details about the OPPO Find X2 Pro. While the Pro model has up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, the vanilla OPPO Find X2 will rock 8GB LPDDR4 RAM. You can also see that the Pro version supports 10 5G bands, X-axis linear motor, and IP68 rating. Meanwhile, the vanilla Find X2 supports four 5G bands and Z-axis linear motor.
Moving to the imaging department, the Pro model rocks a triple camera setup, including a 48MP Sony IMX689 main sensor with omnidirectional focus, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP periscope telephoto unit. In comparison, the Find X2’s triple camera is slightly inferior to that of its sibling. It consists of a 12MP Sony IMX708 movie lens, a 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 13MP telephoto lens. The Pro model’s cameras support 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom, while the Find X2’s cameras support 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. Finally, the Pro model’s 4,260mAh battery capacity is barely higher than its sibling by 60mAh.

OPPO Find X2: Review
Honestly, the feeling when I first received the OPPO Find X2 and OPPO Find X2 Pro is quite disappointing, because the box design is nothing special compared to the previous generation. While the packing box design of the Find X was quite unique, OPPO now chooses a regular style that is no different from popular products on the market.
The OPPO Find X2 Pro uses Sony's latest image sensor IMX689, 48 MP resolution, pixel size 1.12 micrometers, dual-pixel focus support, and OIS. Besides, there are another 48MP sensor, which is also a super wide-angle camera and a 13MP periscope lens. As a result, Oppo Find X2 Pro is capable of 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and up to 60x digital zoom.
As for the Find X2, it only uses a 48MP IMX586 image sensor, a 12MP wide-angle camera, and a 13MP telephoto camera. The handset doesn't have a periscope lens, so it only supports 3x optical zoom.
Both are equipped with a 6.7-inch 10bit AMOLED screen of QHD+ (3168 × 1440p) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Gorilla Glass 6. The displays of the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro models also have a 120Hz refresh rate, which is similar to Samsung's Galaxy S20 series. The 32MP punch-hole selfie camera is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
OPPO Find X2: Launch News
Two years ago, Oppo launched the OPPO Find X smartphone with an impressive design, a perfectly curved screen, and a unique sliding camera. Recently at an event in London, Oppo has launched the next version, which are OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro
The second-generation OPPO Find X2 smartphone has many changes in design, especially the transition from the sliding camera design to the punch-hole display. Although their design is not as unique as that of its predecessor, the overall design of the Find X2 series is still very attractive with a curved screen and ultra-thin bezels.
Oppo Find X2 and OPPO Find X2 Pro both have incredible specs. Both are equipped with 6.7-inch OLED screens, QHD+ (1,440 x 3,168p) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 6. The displays of the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro also have a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to Samsung Galaxy S20. The punch-hole housing a 32MP selfie camera is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
At the helm, both smartphones are powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, paired with 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512 GB UFS 3.0 storage on the Find X2 Pro and 256 GB on the Find X2, with no microSD card slot. Of course, both phones support dual-mode 5G connectivity
The main differences between these two smartphones are their camera setups and battery capacities. The Find X2 has a battery capacity of 4,200mAh compared, while the Find X2 Pro has a slightly higher battery capacity of 4,260 mAh. They both support 65W Super VOOC 2 fast charging, which can charge from 0 to 100% in just 38 minutes.
Oppo doesn’t use glass materials on the back of both Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. The Find X2 Pro black version has a ceramic case, whereas the orange version has a special leather case. Meanwhile, Find X2 is available in two models with two different types of ceramic.
In terms of camera, both of them come with an impressive triple rear camera cluster. The Find X2 Pro rocks a 48MP Sony IMX689 main sensor with a pixel size of 1.12-micrometers as well as support for dual-pixel focus and OIS. Besides, there are a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 13MP periscope lens. That is why the Oppo Find X2 Pro supports 5x optical zoom, hybrid zoom 10x and 60x digital zoom.
Meanwhile, Find X2 only has a 48MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 13MP telephoto lens. Without the periscope lens, the Find X2 can only zoom up to 3x.
In addition, the two Oppo smartphones have a lot of advanced camera features such as Night Mode 3.0, Live HDR 10 video recording, Ultra-Steady Video 2.0, and the ability to reduce background noise when recording videos.
Oppo also announced that it has partnered with DxOMark to develop camera technologies for the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. At the same time, it is very proud to announce that the Find X2 Pro is rated as the best camera smartphone by DxOMark.
In addition, the screens of Find X2 and Find X2 Pro are also rated by A + DisplayMate. Another outstanding feature that even Samsung's Galaxy S20 does not have, is the ability to support QHD+ resolution and 120Hz frequency at the same time. There are options to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz, but you can still lock the screen at 120Hz all the time.
The Oppo Find X2 is priced in Europe at 999 EUR (around Rs. 84,100), in Black and Blue color variants. Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X2 Pro is priced at 1,199 EUR (around Rs. 1,00,100). It also comes in two colors: Orange (leather back) and Black (Ceramic back).
