OPPO Reno 3 Pro Unveiled In India As World's First Phone With 44MP Dual Selfie Cameras

The special variant of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro for the Indian market has been announced in the country. The handset is touted as the first smartphone in the world with a 44MP dual selfie camera setup that supports ultra night selfie mode. Instead of supporting the 5G network like the Chinese model, the Indian version only has 4G connectivity because it is equipped with an Helio P95 chipset. Other key specs of the phone include quad rear cameras, in-display fingerprint reader, and 6.4-inch AMOLED panel.

OPPO Reno 3 Pro: Price in India & Availability
The OPPO Reno 3 Pro price in India is Rs. 29,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB base variant while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option costs Rs. 32,990. It is available in Midnight Black, Sky White, and Aurora Blue and will be up for sales from 6th March. You can also pre-order the phone from now, but only the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage model is up for pre-booking.

It will be distributed via the company’s stores and major e-commerce sites including Flipkart and Amazon. On the first day of sales, buyers can get the handset with zero down-payment with HDB Financial Services, Bajaj Finserv, and more. The first three days of sales, OPO Reno 3 Pro buyers using HDFC credit and debit cards in offline stores can get a 10 percent cash back.

The device comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with two selfie cameras housed on a pill-shaped punch-hole. Its display has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5 percent, under-display fingerprint reader for security, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is driven by an Helio P95 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. To take care of the software side of things, it is pre-installed with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.0 atop. Under the hood, OPPO packs a 4,025 mAh battery to fuel the phone and the battery supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology.

In terms of camera, it gets a quad-camera cluster on the rear, including a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 13MP telephoto unit, and a 2MP monochrome depth-sensing camera. Upfront, there is a dual-camera setup that consists of a 44MP main sensor and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. Connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou, USB-C port, NFC, Dual 4G VoLTE.
