Mid-Range OPPO A92S Arrives With 120Hz Display & 5G Connectivity

Yesterday(April 18), OPPO has officially launched the OPPO A92s - its latest mid-range 5G smartphone in China. The phone has an eye-catching appearance, a punch-hole design with dual selfie cameras on the front and a cluster of quad cameras on the back with a unique design.

OPPO A92s: Price & Availability

The OPPO A92s 5G will be sold in China on April 29 with a starting price of CNY 2,199 (around Rs. 23,800) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version. Meanwhile, the top-end version with 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage has a retail price of CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 27,000).

The device is equipped with a 6.57 inch LCD screen, that supports 120Hz refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), and 20: 9 aspect ratio. On the inside, it has the hardware power from MediaTek's 7nm Dimensity 800 processor, combined with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 internal memory.

Moving to the back, OPPO A92s carries a 4-camera system in a square module located in the top left corner. This camera cluster includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Meanwhile, the cut-out on the front is the home to the dual selfie camera with 16MP Sony IMX471 main sensor and 2MP depth sensor. It has a 3D curved glass back, 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the device comes with a 4000mAh battery, supporting 18W fast charging via USB-C port. The device supports dual SIMs, dual-mode 5G network connection, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5 and comes pre-installed with Android 10 out of the box with ColorOS 7.1 interface running on top.
